No matter your interests or what stage of life you are at, we have something for you to help you connect with others and ultimately, get to know God better and serve Him. The best way to do that is to get involved in the adult groups for you outlined below.

Age Specific Groups
2030s
The aim of the HRBC 20’s and 30’s group is to see young adults grow in Godliness and to serve others throughout the church family. They meet on first and third Sunday nights of the month after evening church, and for other social events. Contact Keith for more information.

The aim of the 40s+ group is to allow friendships to form and develop in the busyness of life. There are 3 or 4 social events a year which are often the launchpad for lifelong friendships.

Meeting Point
Afternoon tea is served and sitting around the tables there is a great buzz of conversation as we share about family and friends. A time of praise follows. Old and much loved hymns are always sung with great enthusiasm; now and again we even try one of the more modern songs of worship.
A variety of other items can be included in the programme – maybe a quiz or an interview and sometimes a member will share a personal story. A short helpful message from the Bible ends the formal proceedings. How quickly an hour passes when you are in good company enjoying yourself. Of course, Christmas and Summer outings are always popular, and the good news is it’s not just for the HRBC congregation – it is a MEETING POINT for anyone looking for company and friendship.

Women
Women Together
Women Together is a group catering for women of all ages and stages of life. We meet twice a month on Thursdays in Hamilton Road Baptist Church. Our doors open at 9.30am, so you can come straight in and chat if you have a school run. Coffee and tea is served from 10am and, at the same time, our pre-school crèche opens. Our group meetings are from 10.30am – 11.30am sharp.

Lads, Dads and Granddads
Breakfast Bible studies, trips out bowling or to the rugby and other guest events – we want to see men develop as Godly leaders in churches, families and work places, having fun and making friends on the way.
