Prayer Points from the Cowans – May 2011

Cowans

We Praise God for the recovery in Grace that has enabled her to return to work this week for three half days.

We thank the church family for their prayers but ask that they continue to pray for Grace so that this recovery will continue and that she will have the strength required to fulfil her duties at work.

The Ports are quiet at the moment yet I have had some good conversations with the dockers. This is not always easy because of their work load.

Please pray for the preparation needed for the Cruise Ships which start on the 27th May with a visit from Crown Princess.

Please pray for guidance as to suitable material to take this season.

We thank God that out of 30 visits this summer over half have given permission for my visit. (Please see list here).

Please pray for SCFS Council as we have three men retiring this year and need to fulfil vacant posts. Please pray for wisdom and guidance as they seek how to approach fufilling these vacancies.

Also please pray for safety as I travel around the Province over the next few months with exhibiting at Conventions. The end of May sees us at Moira Missionary Convention, July we will be attending the Keswick Portstewart Convention and in August, Bangor Worldwide at the Waterfront and Hamilton Road Presbyterian Church.
