EQUIP

How well equipped do you feel for living as a Christian in 2021?

On two blocks of Sunday nights between September and December, we want to help you to practically delve into God’s Word to see how to live as an adult, young person or child, tackling topics that you feel would be most helpful.

We begin on Sunday 7 November and we are delighted to have Dr Dan Doriani join us. Dan is a leading thinker and writer on the topic of Faith and Work. We’ll sit around tables in the main church and HUB for this night, with tea & coffee on arrival along with opportunities for discussion and a Q&A.

Then on 14/21/28 November we have two options for you to choose from. One will be in the Main Church and one will be in the Fellowship Room.

Dr Paul Coulter from the Centre for christianity in Society will be leading a track on ‘Thinking Christians’.

  • 14th Nov: Consistently Christian? A gospel framework for approaching big issues
  • 21st Nov: Is faith reasonable? Why Christian belief makes sense
  • 28th Nov: Bold and Gentle: Engaging in thoughtful gospel conversations

In the other room, Dr Andrew Collins from Biblical Counselling UK will be leading a track on Dynamics of Biblical Change.

  • 14th Nov: Understanding the Person
  • 21st Nov: Understanding the Heart
  • 28th Nov: The wisdom found in Christ

Both rooms will be set up around tables with tea and coffee on arrival, with the opportunity for discussion throughout the night and a Q&A with the speakers and any other guests.

We are delighted that the Ham Bap Kids and Youth Academy seems to be working so well alongside EQUIP. These will continue in November and there is no need to re-register your children or youth for these. More spaces will be available for new children or young people to attend.

Registration will open here on Monday 18 October at 12 noon, please do book early to avoid disappointment.
