What a great three days we had at the inaugural StreetReach Bangor. You may have seen us around town face painting, handing out free bottles of water, painting derelict buildings, prayer walks, litter picking and playing some 2on2 cage football. If not, that’s what a few of our young people from HRBC along with young people from 4 other churches in the town centre got up to in the run up to Easter.
What you didn’t see is the morning session of planning, prayer and teaching. Led by YFC, we got thinking more about God’s story, our story and others’ story.
We were often asked why we were doing this which led to a chance to tell about our relationship with Jesus, and offering more information to those who were interested.
It’s often hard to guage the impact of these weeks, but it was certainly good for our young people to be involved, good to work in gospel partnership with other chruches and good to engage more with our local community. Looking forward to next year already!!! Check out a few photos below, and find out more at our next Youth Service @ HRBC.
